Goose
Goose was worked in the summer of 2020. It is a piece that realised an ambition of Holly’s after seeing Giam Bologna’s ‘Turkey’ on a trip to Florence years before.
Holly’s intent was to create a sculpture unashamedly itself, confident, bereft of kitsch sentiment… a sculpture powerfully presenting the characteristics and attitude of an inquisitive goose.
